I think that once this organization sets its mind to something, it does it. I remember being so excited for the opportunity at UT. When I went home from the interview, I was like a little teenager waiting for a girlfriend to call me. Every time the phone would ring, I would jump out of my seat and run over to see if it was United Therapeutics calling me back with an offer. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait too long and I got the job.

UT is a place where we have an irrational belief that we can achieve what we set out to do.
Paul, Executive
At UT, you're part of a team that is so passionate and driven. It’s one of those unique organizations where you actually get to see how you're benefiting the patient. People connect to that. I know I do.

When I started at UT, I loved the fact that it was a family-based company. UT is a company that was started by a family and truly appreciates that you have a family. So now I do have time to spend with my children. Now I do have time to spend with my family. My worst day here is still better than the best day that I had at my previous job.

I think UT has created an environment here where I enjoy coming in and working every day. The compounds that we are developing and have developed are what excites me about working at United Therapeutics. It's a fun place to work. It's an environment that's fun to be in, and that's why I'm still here.

I think the main thing I like about working over here is the freedom to think and the freedom to express ourselves. That freedom is the most positive aspect of working at United Therapeutics versus any other company. Working with people here, specifically at Revivicor, is very open; it is common for leadership to listen to ideas. I think that's a great thing. It makes work more enjoyable.

I really enjoy being able to do molecular biology and embryo work at United Therapeutics. It's a good fit for me and one that I would have a very difficult time finding anywhere else.

I think what's amazing to me is that ideas at United Therapeutics seem like such crazy ideas; ones that I would have rolled my eyes at before I started here. I read about the history of Martine's vision; ideas that may have been perceived as crazy at the time. She accomplished that initial vision and has expanded far beyond it. It is just exciting to see that she has dreams, passions, and ideas that she tends to have pretty good luck bringing to fruition. I'm very excited about the future here.

United Therapeutics in one word or phrase: Love. Love is essential and without it, we're all at a loss. But with it, we can accomplish amazing things. I think that is really a testament of what United Therapeutics is. Genuinely out of love, all this has happened.

People ask me what's special about UT. It is the sense that people really care. In a lot of companies, they are focused on the bottom line and people are focused on themselves. UT is a place where people want to see other people do well and the focus is on doing better, on helping. At UT, it’s not just about the drug, it's not just about our patients. It's about individual relationships that people have with each other.
Joy, Manager
Everybody's there for everybody. Whether it’s, "Hey I'm working on a project, I'm trying to figure something out" and somebody says, "Hey, well, Beth's worked on that before. Kim's worked on that before." You can call someone, and they'll make time to talk you through it. You're on board with a lot of people that really want to work hard. But, you know, just like at home, you work hard for your family. In my experience at UT, you work hard for your work family.

When I think about the uniqueness of this company compared to other places that I've been, it is Martine’s vision of not only helping her daughter, but also helping the underserved population. It's weird that UT is such a well-known publicly held company, yet it's such a feeling of family that Martine has created amongst all the employees and in everything that we do. It feels so individualized, like you're truly doing your part for a patient and for underserved populations.

I think United Therapeutics is moving on a unique path. I know our team's dream and vision and where we're investing money, but the path is driven more by a combination of the employees and the vision. We try things which we earlier thought were impossible. Martine is working on the frontiers of healthcare, life science, and technology; she’s truly on the frontiers. And when you're in the frontiers executing a vision, that is also the path where you stumble upon new, exciting things.

United Therapeutics is where I work with people that are very similar to me and who enjoy what they do to deliver our amazing products. United Therapeutics has a CEO with a unique story who has started two separate billion-dollar companies. At UT, I have a national sales director (my boss) with whom I have a personal connection outside of work. I have a team that has won back-to-back national sales awards. You tell me who wouldn't drink the UT Kool-Aid, because the reality is that every phase of my professional life has improved.
